Cranston now preferred location for RI’s long-planned state hospital — city asks about impact, revenue
A new long-term acute care hospital once planned for Burrillville’s Zambarano campus is now being studied for Cranston’s Pastore Center. The state says Pastore is the strongest option; Cranston says it has not been briefed or told whether payment in lieu of taxes could change.
