New Blood Test added to Colorectal Cancer Screening Guidelines

The American Cancer Society has updated its colorectal cancer screening guidelines to include a blood-based test option for some average-risk adults age 45 and older. The test is aimed at people who decline or have not completed colonoscopy or stool-based screening.
