Rhode Island Weather for May 29, 2026
Rhode Island gets a fairly pleasant spring day on Friday, with a mix of sunshine and clouds and temperatures running comfortable for late May.
Morning: Cool to start, with temperatures in the upper 40s to 50s, then gradually warming under partly sunny skies.
Afternoon: Mild to warm, with highs in the low-to-mid 70s inland and a bit cooler near the coast; sunshine mixes with clouds, making it a good window for outdoor plans.
Evening: Turning cooler and partly cloudy, with temperatures slipping back through the 60s into the upper 40s overnight.
Overall, it is a solid late-spring day — not perfect, but dry, usable, and comfortable before a much colder, wetter Saturday moves in.
It’s a “B” day!
