Rhode Island Weather for June 1, 2026
Rhode Island starts June on a cooler, somewhat unsettled note, with clouds, breaks of sun, and the chance of a passing shower or two.
Morning: Mostly cloudy and cool, with temperatures starting in the upper 40s to low 50s and only slowly warming.
Afternoon: Cooler than recent days, with highs around 60–62°F inland and possibly cooler near the coast; some breaks of sun are possible, but a passing shower or two may move through.
Evening: Turning chilly for June, with clouds gradually breaking and temperatures falling through the 50s into the 40s, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s in some inland spots.
Overall, June 1 earns a C+ — not a washout, but cooler, cloudier, and less comfortable than a typical early-June day.
