Interesting blurb about Top Golf (TG) losing a substantial investor in Callaway Golf Company – a company that ‘designs and manufactures golf clubs, golf balls, and accessories’. As my research indicates, the company currently operates under the name ‘TopGolf Callaway Brands Corp’. Their name will probably be changing.
After losing our battle against the Carpionato Group in their efforts to build Top Golf, can’t say we are distressed about this news.

Wonder how they are doing, business-wise. Noted that more than 1/2 the red lights appear to be out…

I asked a friend several days ago if he knew of anyone who had been to Top Golf. Nope. I wasn’t surprised.
I’m certainly not an arbiter of social norms. The idea never seemed to be a fit for Rhode Island.

      Not surprised at all.
