Congressman James Langevin – “It’s time to chart a new course.”
Having served for 36 years, including 11 terms of office and 22 years in congress, Congressman Langevin announces he will “not be a candidate for elected office this November.
He announced this by posting a video on his Facebook page: (click on link under photo)

Rhode Island is a better place thanks to the leadership and dedication of public servants like Congressman Jim Langevin. From his expertise on cybersecurity to championing CTE funding, and so much more— he has been a key voice for Rhode Islanders. Thank you for your service, Jim.
