Arts Day at the RI State House – TODAY, April 28

Arts Day at the State House is TODAY. Stressing the importance of arts and culture to creating healthy and thriving individuals and communities, the event begins at 2:30pm. Proclamations will be read in both the House and Senate chambers at approximately 4pm – and a speaking and performance program goes from 3 to 4pm.

The RI State Council on the Arts (RISCA) says attendance and enthusiasm show how important arts and culture are in the Rhode Island community. Arts Day seen as an opportunity to connect and be energized by the transformative arts and cultural work happening state wide.
