Rhode Island Weather for April 28, 2026
Morning: Cool and crisp start to the day with temperatures in the low to mid 40s°F near sunrise, gradually warming into the low 50s by late morning. Skies begin partly cloudy but trend toward mostly sunny with light northeast winds. A pleasant spring morning overall, though you’ll still want a light jacket.Noon
Afternoon: Prime time for the day — mostly sunny to sunny with highs reaching the mid to upper 60s°F. Light winds and plenty of sunshine make it feel quite comfortable for late April. Great weather for being outdoors.
Evening: Clear skies dominate as temperatures drop quickly into the upper 30s to low 40s°F. Calm and chilly by bedtime, with excellent stargazing conditions.
A very nice early spring day for Rhode Island — sunny, dry, and noticeably warmer than recent conditions, though still a bit cool in the mornings and evenings. Solid for outdoor activities, but not quite beach weather yet. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Overall Grade: B+
