Your RI Weather Today, Sept. 8, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Wednesday 9/8/21:
High pressure retreats to the east and the resulting return flow from the south brings in some added humidity, and eventually increasing cloud cover in the late afternoon and evening. We’ll see some light rain and perhaps some heavier embedded showers overnight into Thursday as a cold front moves through. Morning lows in the low 60’s and afternoon highs in the low 80’s with winds out of the south-southwest gusting towards 30 mph.
