RIMA honoree Mahr, Inc, formerly Federal Products
This year the RIMA honoree will be Mahr Inc. This company began as Federal Products Corporation in 1918. The company made one product: fixed dimensional gages for the weapons makers of World War I. After the war, Federal Products briefly built blood pressure gages and then transitioned to manufacturing cylinder bores in car engines.
Today, Mahr Inc. makes more than 100,000 gages and machines to measure products that are used by individuals and companies every day. The company employs over 1,900 employees and has sales of about $250 million.
Mahr has over 150 years of experience providing dimensional measurement solutions to fit customer application needs.
