It’s in giving back – that you discover who you are

Happy 2020!  There’s something about the turnover of a new year that causes us to reflect on the past and to project our hopes and dreams into the future. Who have we been, what have we done, given or created, that we can improve upon? Who do we want to become in the days and months ahead? Despite best intentions, most people do not take a step beyond daydreaming about what the next chapter looks like.

I can help you with that. I’m a member of Photographers Without Borders. I believe the meaning of life is to live on giving. It is in the time of giving back that you discover more of who you are and what you are meant to do. I volunteer with non-profit organizations all over the world doing amazing work to document the stories of volunteers and life changing work.

This March I am helping to lead a trip to Peru to help Let Love International. We will be building homes and exploring the beautiful country of Peru. I invite you to join me this Tuesday January 7th at Los Andes in Providence to sample some Peruvian Delicacies and learn more about how you can start 2020 and the next chapter in your life from a place of gratitude and exploration.
