RI Weather Today – Tues, Dec. 15, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A mostly clear yet cool day with a bit of a northwesterly breeze gusting at times through the afternoon that will put more of a stinging chill in the air. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 30’s and evening lows dipping to the mid 20’s.
We’re watching what could be a meaty storm Wednesday night – Thursday afternoon. Models range from around 4 inches to 24 inches. Somewhere in the middle is most likely, and I think we will be zero-ing in around 10 inches, but it’s still early.
