RI Weather Today, Thursday 12/19/19
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
The quick-hitting clipper will be well east when Thursday gets going, and the winds will be in a hurry to fill in the void left behind. Northwesterly winds gusting to 30 mph and beyond at times combined with temperatures in the 20’s will drag wind chills down into the single digits on either side of ‘zero’ through most of the day with morning low’s in the teens and afternoon highs only in the mid 20’s.
Lots of sun, but that only goes so far when the clear air actually hurts.
