RI Weather Today, Thursday 2/6/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Frontal system hugging the northeast US coast will bring us an all-day rain event, perhaps some mixed rain and snow early with the cool air still in place. Warmer air with the system will be drawn in, so shortly after sunrise any mix will change over to all rain as temperatures rise from a low in the low 30’s to highs in the mid 40’s and a northeasterly light breeze under a low overcast.
