RI Weather Today, Sunday, December 8, 2019
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Deep dry air, snow cover and light winds is a recipe for maximum cooling, so Sunday morning will dawn with low temps in the teens. Winds will be shifting to light southwesterly however, so relative humidity will rise as will temperatures to the upper 30’s. Clouds will thicken well in advance of a loosely put together eastern Canadian cold front and weak low pressure developing off of the mid-Atlantic, so we’ll watch these for Monday.
