RI Weather Today – Mon, Jan. 18, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak cold front will sweep through and stir up some later afternoon cloud cover and maybe a flake or two surviving the descent through relatively dry air. The front will exit as quickly as it entered, and we’ll have a mostly clear night and winds will have shifted from southwesterly to westerly. Afternoon highs above normal again, in the low to mid 40’s, and morning and evening lows in the mid 30’s. Dew points well below freezing will allow for the afternoon flakes.
