High pressure keeps things dry and a bit chilly in the morning, low temperatures threatening the freezing mark and plunging below in some of the elevated valleys and country hollows. Plenty of sun during midday but with a decent westerly breeze that will continue to draw in cool inland air, our afternoon high temperatures will only get into the low 50’s before clouds roll in overhead in advance of the next frontal system that will generate some evening and overnight light rain.
