RI Weather Today – Fri, Oct. 16, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A cold front moves through during the day keeping us in the rain from about 11am on into the night. Southerly breezes keep the warmer air in place until the frontal passage, which looks like it will occur around 6pm. Winds then shift to northwesterly and temps begin to drop along with the humidity, evening lows in the low 50’s down from afternoon highs in the upper 60’s.
