Rhode Island Weather for October 9, 2025 – a “B” day!
Today the morning starts off crisp and clear, with temperatures in the 40s and bright, mostly sunny skies.
As the day progresses toward midday and early afternoon, the sun continues to carry through with light warmth, pushing highs into the mid-50s to upper 50s.
In the evening, skies stay clear and temperatures will dip again, making for a cool but pleasant night.
Overall, not blazing warm, but delightful for a crisp fall day with sunshine and good visibility.
There is a Freeze Watch in effect for Rhode Island tonight into Friday morning, issued by NWS. Conditions are expected to be clear and cold, with overnight lows possibly dropping into the 20s or low 30s in many inland and higher-elevation areas.
If you have sensitive plants, exposed plumbing, or outdoor belongings, it’s a good idea to bring them inside or take protective measures.
Looking ahead, if the weekend stays on trend with today, expect generally clear skies and moderate temperatures.
It’s a “B” day!
