Morning
Mostly cloudy and cold start. Dry early; increasing clouds through late morning. Temps: upper 20s → low 30s. Winds are light today. Quiet but storm signals increasing – a day to get around and PREPARE.
Afternoon
Snow may develop as early as late afternoon (earlier inland). May begin as a mix near the coast before turning to snow. Temps: mid 30s, slowly falling late. Winds increasing 10–20 mph. Travel conditions begin deteriorating late day
Evening & Overnight (Peak Impact Period)
Snow intensifies rapidly. Heavy snowfall rates possible overnight. Wind gusts 35–50+ mph → blowing & drifting snow. Visibility may drop to near zero at times. Temps falling into upper 20s. Dangerous travel and outage risk rising. Significant accumulation – 18-24″ possible overnight into Monday. Strong winds may create blizzard-like conditions and power outages.
