Rhode Island Weather for April 29, 2026
Morning: Expect a mix of sun and clouds to start the day, with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 40s°F near sunrise rising into the low-to-mid 50s°F by late morning. Winds will be light from the northeast/ENE around 5-10 mph, keeping conditions dry with only a low chance of any precipitation. It should feel pleasant for spring activities as the sun breaks through at times.
Afternoon: Skies will trend cloudier through the day, with highs reaching the low-to-mid 60s°F (around 62-64°F). Northeast winds around 5-10 mph will persist. There may be a slight chance of a passing shower or drizzle later, but most of the afternoon should stay dry overall, with limited sunshine.
Evening: Clouds will dominate into the night, with lows dropping into the mid-40s°F (around 45-48°F). A chance of light rain could develop after midnight in some spots, though totals should remain light. Winds stay light.
It’s a decent but not spectacular spring day—mild temperatures and mostly dry conditions in the first half make it good for being outdoors, but increasing clouds and a possible evening rain chance hold it back from an A. Layer clothing for changing conditions.
Overall letter grade for the day: B-
