Real Estate in RI: Compass RI closes 2025 as #1 Fastest-Growing Brokerage in the State

Compass Rhode Island closed 2025 with substantial growth and continued market leadership. The firm reported more than $1.26 billion in sales volume, representing 11.04% year-over-year growth and defending its position as the #1 brokerage in Rhode Island by total sales volume. This milestone marked the firm’s fifth consecutive year exceeding $1 billion in closed sales statewide.

Compass Rhode Island’s growth significantly outpaced the broader market, exceeding overall market growth by 3.05 percentage points, or approximately 38% higher than the market average.

By transaction count, Compass Rhode Island recorded 16.64% year-over-year growth, making it the fastest-growing brokerage among the state’s top firms. By comparison, the broader Rhode Island market grew just 1.81% by transaction count in 2025.

Notably, 2025 marked the firm’s 17th consecutive year leading the state in $1M+ sales, a foundation built in part on the legacy of the Lila Delman team.

At the county level, Compass Rhode Island posted notable rankings and year-over-year gains, including:

• #1 firm in Washington County (marketwide and $1M+)

• #1 firm in Bristol County ($1M+ and $2.5M+)

• +119.27% transaction growth and +55.45% sales volume growth in Kent County

• +19.72% transaction growth and +15.28% sales volume growth in Providence County

• +8.47% transaction growth in Newport County

From the Coast to the Capitol, Compass Rhode Island agents achieved 22 top sales statewide in 2025, including the #1 sale overall in Providence, Barrington, Bristol, Charlestown, Exeter, North Kingstown, and Hopkinton.
