With Opening of Splendid, Cranston’s Garden City Center continues to add National Brands

Splendid, an LA-based lifestyle brand known for its signature-soft essentials, will open TODAY, July 31, with a ribbon cutting at Garden City Center in Cranston.
The new boutique will offer a curated assortment of Splendid’s women’s, children’s, footwear, and jewelry collections, featuring the elevated everyday essentials the brand has become known for.
As Garden City Center continues to welcome sought-after national brands, Splendid’s Rhode Island debut offers a timely local retail opening for locals interested in shopping, fashion, and new business openings.
Activities at the Opening Weekend in Garden City:
Friday, July 31
Soft grand opening at 11 AM ribbon-cutting with the Cranston Mayor Hopkins, plus styling sessions, influencer appearances, and Kaffeology specialty drinks at Splendid from 11 AM–2 PM.
Saturday, August 1
Grand Opening celebration features special appearances by Jackie Tasca (Miss Petite Pilates) and Rhode Island creator Patty J from 10 AM–12:30 PM, plus a signature Splendid Lemonade from Rhody Pop from 11 AM–2 PM.
Sunday, August 2
Partnering with the Glimmer of Hope Foundation — a Rhode Island nonprofit supporting children battling cancer and their families — with 20% of the day’s proceeds donated to the Foundation.
The Garden City store will be the first in Rhode Island. Other stores are located at:
