New Urgent Care center opens TODAY in Johnston

Johnston, Rhode Island will be the site of the 4th Lifespan Urgent Care when they open for patients on Monday, January 16th at 8am. Located at 11 Commerce Way, Unit #5, in the plaza with Stop & Shop, the urgent care will provide the people who live and work in Johnston and the greater Providence County area with access to quick and convenient high-quality medical care for common medical conditions, and minor illnesses and injuries.

“I am thrilled Lifespan is opening Urgent Care in Johnston. This new location will provide Johnston residents with more access to high-quality healthcare services. My administration will do everything it can to support their efforts and offer any assistance needed along the way,” said Joseph Polisena, Jr., Mayor of Johnston.

“I am excited Lifespan Urgent Care will have its fourth location in the town of Johnston, following the success of our other locations. I am proud Lifespan is taking another step in delivering the care our neighbors need, when and where they need it most,” said Lifespan Urgent Care Medical Director Olivier Gherardi, DO. “Lifespan Urgent Care centers provide their surrounding communities the expertise and compassion they need – and expect – when being treated by Rhode Island’s leading health care providers.”
