Networking Pick of the Week – Venture Café & District Hall Providence
What does it mean to go back to work now that we’re in the “new normal”? Join the Giant Shoulders team on June 30th from 4:30-6:30 PM as they examine the topic of where, how, and with whom we will conduct our work – both during the pandemic and beyond.
This is an online event.
Next week will feature a panel of experts including our Executive Director Tuni Schartner, followed by three breakout rooms for discussion around specific contexts: startups/small companies, corporations/traditional larger companies, and solo entrepreneurs.
Hi-ho, hi-ho… it’s off to work we go? What does it mean to “go back to work” in the new normal?
Whether your work has been on pause or you have already been working from home, this is a question that all of us are asking – leaders, managers, and workers. Join us on June 30th where we will examine the topic of where, how, and with whom we will conduct our work – both during the pandemic, and beyond.
This week will feature a panel of experts, followed by three breakout rooms for discussion around specific contexts: startups/small companies, corporations/traditional larger companies, and solo entrepreneurs.
What is Future Look?
Future Look is a bi-weekly online gathering for helping leaders and business owners explore creative ways to tackle challenges in the new normal. Together, we’ll hear from business experts, ask questions, and discuss solutions to the unique challenges we face as we define our future.
In the midst of a pandemic, our way of life is constantly being reshaped. As leaders, we have choices to make: Will we step up to lead and define our new normal? Restrictions are easing and economies are reopening, but questions and tough decisions remain. But you don’t have to do this work alone.
This event’s proceeds will be donated to Venture Cafe, an independent non-profit created by the CIC.
Presenters:
Denny Voyles, assistant director of HR at the Orlando Magic NBA team
Tuni Shartner, ED of co-working and programming at District Hall / Venture Cafe
