Jamestown Harp Festival — A Seaside Festival to benefit Bridgemark Addiction and Recovery Center

Festival highlights include a Reception & Concert at the Jamestown Arts Center on July 21,2022, at 7:30 pm and a Matinee Concert on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Listen to internationally renowned harpists Marta Power, Tamman Odeh and Grace Cloutier. Throughout the weekend enjoy talks on music therapy, the history of harps, and harp making. Relax with yoga, meditation and gong sessions in the beautiful seaside setting of Jamestown, RI. Watch a live painter at work and bid for a painting to benefit Bridgemark Addiction and Recovery Center.

• 7:30 pm — Reception and Concert at the JAC

Friday, July 22, 2022 — Friday’s sessions are held at the Central Baptist Church, 99 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI 02835

• 10:00 am – 12:00 pm — Intro to the Harp by Tammam Odeh, Grace Cloutier and Marta Powers
• 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm — Harp Therapy and Addiction Recovery: A Presentation and Discussion on Harp Therapy by Kath O’Neil (accompanied by selected music, and discussion on music therapy certifications)

Saturday, July 23, 2022 — Jamestown Arts Center, Jamestown, RI 02835

• 8:30 am – 9:30 am — Meditation Session with Gongs and Harp by Stephanie Marisca
• 10:00 am – 12:00 pm — Harpmaking with Dick Ranlet
• 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm​ — Music and the Brain: Positive Effects for Alzheimer’s Patients by Grace Cloutier

Sunday, July 24, 2022 — Jamestown Arts Center, Jamestown, RI 02835

• 8:30 am – 9:30 am​ — Yoga Session with Harp with Martha Langer
• 10:00 am – 12:00 pm​ — Introductory Group Harp Lessons
• 3:00 pm​ — Matinee Harp Concert
