Weekly, Joe Paolino, Jr. interviews interesting people in Rhode Island. Here is his interview this week with Congressman James Langevin, who has announced his retirement after 30 years in public service. They discuss Rhode Island issues, politics, national and local concerns, and his interests and projects for the future. They talk about why he is retiring from Congress after 22 years, and other topics, including the economy, cybersecurity and the tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

“to get money into RI”…? says Mr. Paolino. Where does it come from? Wyoming? Kentucky? It comes out of the pockets of taxpayers. It doesn’t come from some huge pot in Washington, D.C. the size of the James Webb telescope It comes from creating a 30 trillion dollar U.S. national debt. Thanks so much pliticians, particularly Democratic politicians. The money comes into RI in the form of debt placed on the next generation, and the next…
