Happy Thanksgiving – from, and to, our writers – RINewsToday
by Nancy Thomas, publisher
From RINewsToday to our readers – our wishes for a peaceful Thanksgiving. With a special thanksgiving to the writers who make up RINewsToday. As we start to close out another year, we are very grateful for all. Our little state never lacks for a story to tell – some wonderful and awe-inspiring, some that make our heart heavy. When we started RINewsToday there was no COVID crisis. Homelessness was always somewhat of an issue – but not in the magnitude that it is today. We tell the stories to help you be better informed and to understand the Rhode Islanders around us – and beyond.

There are many fellow Rhode Islanders who will not be sitting down to a hot meal and the warmth of a home, family and friends. That weighs heavily on us and influences our news coverage this time of year.
Thank you again – from – and to – our writing staff – and all those who contribute on an occasional basis.
We also noted the passing recently of Hershey Rosen, who wrote over 30 columns for us and was a dear friend.
We are RINewsToday…
_
