Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers than influencers.

This week I would like to introduce you to the cream of the crop…Moo 🐄

This 6-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier is udderly adorable and affectionate.  Playfully named for his handsome “Holstein”coat, Moo is looking for a family ready to herd him into a life full of love, affection, and a second chance.

Moo’s love language is pure physical affection. This big softie just lives to lean, snuggle, and smother the people he loves in cow-ntless wet, enthusiastic kisses. He will plant himself against your body like a gentle dairy cow at the fence, and command love, kisses, and pets. Give him affection and he multiplies it right back, double the kisses, triple the heart eyes. He is basically a walking, licking, tail-wagging love machine who will milk every cuddle session for all it’s worth.

Yes, our handsome Moo boy is currently a tad on the “well-fed pasture cow” side of the scale. Shhh… we don’t mention this in front of him. He would benefit from daily strolls and a healthy diet so he can feel his best (and still have plenty of energy left for couch cuddles and face-licking marathons).

Moo is friendly with other dogs and prefers a home without feline roommates. We don’t have a history of him meeting children, but with his cool, mellow, “I’m just a big gentle moo-cow” personality, we don’t anticipate any concerns. If you are looking for a devoted moo-vie night BFF who will share the popcorn and lick the salt of your face, then moo-ve over and same some room on your couch for Moo.
