Gimme’ Shelter! – GHOST could be yours by Halloween! Visit at the RI SPCA – Cheryl Tudino
by Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA volunteer, contributing writer
Publisher’s Note: Before we learn all about “Ghost”, we have good news to share! Not one, not two, but three dogs have been adopted that were promoted by our Gimme’ Shelter feature since Cheryl began writing for us. TY, Cheryl, what a wonderful feeling for bot of us.Â

Hi there, I’m Cheryl and I volunteer at the RISPCA shelter in Warwick by dog walking, fundraising and social media messaging. I am here to share with you a peek at your new adoptable BFF!

Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA
There is a ghost at the RISPCA Shelter! But his hauntings are not very scary!
Meet Ghost, the most booooo-tiful, wiggliest, happiest, cuddle bug you will meet! Ghost is ready to haunt your heart and warm your soul this Halloween! All that Ghost asks for in return is a loving home – and that his belly be rubbed often. You will feel like you are always behind in your tummy taxes, but so worth the debt.
Ghost is an athlete and excels in catching tennis balls and treats! Out of 20 treat tosses, he missed not even one!! This playful Ghost is not only a serious athlete, but booooo-tiful to look at! He is absolutely handsome! This Ghost is not just another plain white sheet, he has striking markings and piercing blue eyes!
Ghost sometimes becomes a bit spooked of his surroundings and does not like to meet others through a gate or on leash. He needs initial reassurance and some belly rubs and then he is all in. This playful ghoul has won over the hearts of all our staff members and is ready to meet his new family.
This boy even has his own coffee brand, Ghost’s Roast Pumpkin Latte. Now until the end of October, every purchase of Ghost Roast at Cafe International, money will come back to the RISPCA to help Ghost and his friends. Ghost would do best in a home with teens – and as an only dog. He may not mind having dog friends that come to visit, but at the end of the day, he’d prefer to be the only king of the couch. Ghost would thrive in a home with a new BFF that has dog experience, time to play, provide structure and love.

Ready to add a new ghoul to your haunted mansion? Apply for Ghost today! If you are ready not to adopt a new BFF, Ghost hopes you will stop by Cafe International in Cranston and treat yourself to his signature Ghost Roast Pumpkin Latte while raising much needed money for him and his friends at the RISCPA.
Oh, and one last thing from Ghost, he would like to wish you a very Happy Halloween! “BOOOO….I mean WOOF!”
If you are interested in applying for this adorable ghoul, please fill out an adoption application! The application can be found on our website: https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs.
