Central Falls Makeover: Streets, Sidewalks, Lighting. Shoveling, Food Pantry, Halloween plans
What Rhode Island city resident would not want to read that their city is getting attention to streets, sidewalk and outdoor lighting!
That city is Central Falls – and they are on the move! As part of their ongoing commitment to safety and quality of life, their streets are getting a much-needed makeover.
Fresh pavement and upgraded sidewalks are rolling out—so whether you’re heading to work, dropping off at school, or supporting our local small businesses, your journey will soon be smoother, safer, and better than ever.
And adding to that commitment to street improvements, streetlights play a big role, and we want to make sure every corner of our city is well-lit. If you see an existing streetlight that’s flickering, out, or not working properly, let us know by filling out this quick form. Together, we can keep our streets welcoming and safe!
One more note: as we move into the weekend, don’t forget about our current election to seat our new school board! Early voting is open at City Hall now! Vote during normal city hall operating hours now through November 3, or vote at the polls on Election Day (November 4, from 7:00 AM–8:00 PM). Questions? ¡Central Falls está en marcha! Como parte de nuestro compromiso continuo con la seguridad y la calidad de vida, nuestras calles están recibiendo una renovación muy necesaria.
Se está implementando pavimento nuevo y aceras mejoradas, así que, ya sea que vaya al trabajo, deje a sus hijos en la escuela o apoye a nuestros pequeños negocios locales, su viaje pronto será más cómodo, seguro y mejor que nunca.
Además de este compromiso con las mejoras en las calles, el alumbrado público juega un papel fundamental, y queremos asegurarnos de que cada rincón de nuestra ciudad esté bien iluminado. Si ve una farola de luz que parpadea, está apagada o no funciona correctamente, infórmenos completando este breve formulario. ¡Juntos, podemos mantener nuestras calles acogedoras y seguras!
Una nota más: ¡A medida que nos acercamos al fin de semana, no se olviden de las elecciones para la nueva junta escolar! ¡La votación anticipada ya está abierta en la Alcaldía! Vote durante el horario habitual de la alcaldía desde ahora hasta el 3 de noviembre, o vote en los lugares de votación asignados el día de las elecciones (4 de noviembre, de 7:00 AM a 8:00 PM). ¿Tiene preguntas?
