Gimme’ Shelter: Dior is a delight! At the RI SPCA – Cheryl Tudino

Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers than influencers.  This week I would like to introduce you to a true canine fashion icon: Dior.

Move over Paris! There’s a new Dior in town, and she is bringing 95.6 pounds of designer-level cuddles with her. No fancy handbag required.

At 8 years old, Dior has officially entered her “quiet luxury” era. Her idea of high fashion? A cozy spot next to her favorite person, a leisurely stroll, and soaking up every ounce of affection she can get.

Dior may not strut down a runway, but she certainly knows how to work a room, or a couch. Her signature look is equal parts elegant, lovable, and “Excuse me, is this spot taken?”

This sophisticated girl has a gentle soul and can be a little shy at first. We don’t have a history of her meeting dogs, children or cats, so Dior should have a slow introduction before she shares her spotlight. After all, a proper introduction is always in style.

Her favorite pastimes include lounging by your side, enjoying a good stroll, and generally looking fabulous without even trying. Some dogs need designer accessories; Dior IS the designer accessory.
