About Munroe Dairy

A.B. Munroe Dairy, located on North Brow Street in East Providence, has been New England’s trusted purveyor of farm-fresh goodness since 1881. Founded by Alfred B. Munroe, it was later purchased in 1936 by the Armstrong family, whose commitment to the finest quality products delivered with exceptional customer service remains the hallmark.
Now including the fourth generation of Armstrongs, Munroe Dairy has evolved from milk delivery to a one-stop destination for customers, where they can have more than 400 grocery items, including in-house baked goods, fresh produce, meat and poultry, prepared and frozen foods, and more, delivered to their door from local vendors such as Narragansett Creamery, Lily’s Ladle, Central Falls Provisions, Venda Ravioli, and NakedFig Artisanal Mediterranean Foods.
With this growth, Munroe Dairy’s milk continues to be single-sourced from grass-fed cows on family-owned farms just over the border in Connecticut. Minimally processed and without additives, stabilizers, or synthetics, Munroe’s milk goes from cow to bottle to the customer in less than 48 hours, yielding a better tasting and more nutritious product.
Munroe Dairy is also home to the Sacred Cow Market and Cafe, featuring premium hard ice cream from Munroe Dairy, soft serve ice cream, and some of Munroe Dairy’s most popular grocery items and milk. For more information, visit www.cowtruck.com.
