Rhode Island Speaker of the House Honors Engel & Völkers at Grand Opening Event
Luxury Rhode Island real estate brokerage opens new shop in East Greenwich
Rhode Island Speaker of the House, Joseph Shekarchi, recently attended the Engel & Völkers grand opening ceremony at its new location on 247 Main Street in East Greenwich.
During the luxe ribbon cutting event, Speaker Shekarchi presented co-owners, Emilio DiSpirito IV and Joe Fazio, with a certificate recognizing their small business success.
“It demonstrates the State of Rhode Island’s commitment to ensuring that small businesses know that our leaders are here and easy to reach,” says DiSpirito. “We feel speaker Shekarchi represents small business owners and we appreciated his attendance deeply.”
A red carpet was rolled out along East Greenwich’s main street and a violinist played contemporary hits into the warm spring night at the gleaming new shopfront. The sidewalk was bustling in a sea of people dressed in white, black and red. Many members of the community were in attendance, including local real estate advisors, business owners, and everyone that has supported the Engel & Völkers team along the way.
“I was delighted to attend the grand opening ceremony at the new East Greenwich office of Engel & Völkers,” says Speaker Shekarchi. “It’s great to see small businesses in Rhode Island expand and grow. I wish them all much success.”
The new shop will allow the Engel & Völkers team to continue to provide their buyers, sellers, and investors with an excellent customer experience. The space blends the softness of the exposed white brick and original hardwood floors with a sharp, minimalist design that gives clients a luxury feel from the moment they set foot through the door – regardless of their budget.
