Business Beat: Beth Mazor joins Engel & Völkers

Luxury Rhode Island real estate brokerage gains award-winning advisor

Engel & Völkers of East Greenwich announced today that Beth Mazor has joined its brokerage as a real estate advisor, bringing award-winning service, as well as more than 30 years of management, investor servicing, and her personal love of interior design to this new role.

Beth worked at one of Boston’s largest investment management firms for nearly three decades before she returned to her hometown of Providence to pursue her passion of building and design. Beth served in a variety of leadership roles where she managed operations, worked alongside investment professionals and trustees, and coordinated with colleagues across the organizations to implement new investment instruments and strategies.

After moving back to Rhode Island, Beth began a rehab project on an old carriage house along Providence’s east side. She continued to flip properties for a couple years before she took her passion to the next level and became a real estate advisor. Beth continued to take on rehab projects and she was part of a team that converted an abandoned Victorian in Portsmouth into three modern condos. She is currently working on a development project for that client to build six new townhomes.

Beth does the design for her projects and her robust experience working with investors has quickly made her a rising star in the real estate world. Beth has been featured in the Top 100 Magazine, as well as received the Professional Excellence in Real Estate designation by Rhode Island Monthly in 2022. She received the Circle of Excellence award in bronze and silver since 2017 and she achieved the gold award in 2021.

“I help my clients reach their goals by listening and asking a lot of questions,” says Beth. “Each client is different. It’s important for me to be empathetic and supportive because it can be more than just the house. In addition, investors have varied goals and levels of expertise – it’s important to know your customer!”

She joins Engel & Völkers from Residential Properties Ltd. In this new role, she looks forward to sharing her consummate experience to help investors better understand the broader economics at play to maximize their real estate assets.

“Beth exemplifies all that we look for in our advisors,” says Emilio DiSpirito IV, co-owner of Engel & Völkers. “Beth has a deep understanding of financial and real estate markets, and she brings decades of experience to the table for her clients. Beth brings unparalleled service and expertise to all that she does. We are proud to welcome her to our local and global network.”

Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from Rhode Island College. She is a member of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors. She is licensed in RI and MA.
