Bayside YMCA Outdoor Pool in Barrington Now Open After Renovations

The Greater Providence YMCA celebrated the opening of the renovated Outdoor Pool at Bayside YMCA with a ribbon cutting.
The more than $200,000 project restores a long-standing summer gathering place for Bayside members, campers, swim families, and Barrington residents. The outdoor pool has been part of the Bayside community for generations, supporting swim lessons, summer camp, swim team, family recreation, and water safety.
The renovation was made possible through the generosity of YMCA donors and members, along with funding allocated by the Barrington Town Council. The project reflects a strong partnership between the YMCA, Town leaders, donors, staff, members, and the broader Bayside community to preserve and renew an important community aquatics space.

The pool is not restricted only to Barrington residents. It is a YMCA pool open to YMCA members and eligible YMCA guests; the special town-subsidized access is limited to Barrington residents. Contact the Bayside Family YMCA at 245-2444.
