ART! BuyArt Small Works Holiday Show and Sale at WaterFire Arts Center

WaterFire Providence announces the 5th Annual BuyArt small works holiday show and sale opening on Thursday, November 13, in the gallery of the WaterFire Arts Center from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Featuring 25 local artists, including WaterFire staff, Accelerate artists, interns, and volunteers. The show encourages holiday shoppers to purchase art right off the wall and give the gift of art this holiday season. As visitors purchase art, new works will be added throughout the show.
“We are so excited to present the fifth year of BuyArt small works holiday show and sale,as we showcase 24 artists who represent the art community in Providence. This year, we are exhibiting the works of five past WaterFire interns, five WaterFire volunteers, four Accelerate artists, and 10 artists who have been previously featured in exhibitions at the WaterFire Arts Center. This show is a great opportunity to not only purchase a piece of artwork for the holidays, but also to support local emerging artists within our community in Providence,” says Caitlin McDonough, of WaterFire Providence, Coordinator of the 2025 BuyArt Show.
Shoppers will have a range of mediums to choose from, from mixed media works and photographs to prints and paintings, and will include the following artists: Cali Almy; Sara Breslin; Justin DeGraide*; Dorian Epps*; Pamela Fernández; Logan Firestone; Skylar Gould; Michael Hayes; Patricia Jurkowski; Kyle Machado; Caterina Maina*; Anne Manera; Larisa Martino; James Messina; Laura J Michaud; Sarina Mitchel; Christian Podzon; Grechel Rosado; Julia Samuels; Jeremy Schilling; Jenny Simpson; Ariel Tavares*; Rachel Turner; and Laura White.

Visitors are invited to the show’s opening day on Thursday, November 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitors are also invited to Gallery Night Providence on Thursday, November 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., to shop BuyArt, then join a tour around the city to partner arts spaces.
Additional pop-up shopping events will be announced during BuyArt. The WaterFire Arts Center store + gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Please note the WaterFire Arts Center store + gallery will be closed between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

About the WaterFire Arts Center
WaterFire Providence purchased the Art Center in 2012 and began rehabilitation for the vacant, historic, industrial building in the underserved Olneyville/Valley neighborhood of Providence. The 37,000 sq. ft. multi-use arts center has become WaterFire’s first permanent home in the community and serves as its headquarters, production complex, and a multi-purpose arts venue as well as a social enterprise platform strengthening the organization’s long-term financial sustainability.
