Art teachers have the unique gift of merging the intricacies of mathematics, the lyricism of language, and the lessons of history to create a new form of visual communication. This show celebrates those educators who teach art to others. The Rhode Island Art Educator Showcase is a special show in the main gallery of the Warwick Center for the Arts. The show will run until October 9th and is in partnership with the Rhode Island Art Educators Association.

This exhibit will feature and celebrate Rhode Island art educators who have had a difficult school year, to say the least.

The timing of this exhibit is planned for the end of the summer and the beginning of the school year, giving the teaching artists time and opportunity to showcase their most recent works, often times completed during the summer months.

Looking to showcase your artwork?

The Warwick Center for the Arts offers a large, brick-walled main gallery easily accommodates 50-60 pieces for artists or artist groups. Receptions can be held  for family, friends, and patrons in the main gallery during the exhibit. Exhibit schedule is planned nearly 12-18 months in advance, so reserve early.
