Tell us about your professional experience up to now.

Prior to real estate, I led Scorpio Accessories, a design-driven brand where I oversaw everything from product development to strategic growth, building partnerships with major national retailers. That experience sharpened my eye for design, understanding of market trends, and ability to manage complex negotiations and relationships. Extensive international travel and global production oversight further shaped my strategic approach to business.

I’m also the Founder of James Felix, a luxury men’s jewelry brand I launched in 2020 with a dedicated focus on distinct branding and personalized service. I’ve spent decades in the fashion and jewelry world, so I’ve gotten pretty good at putting together successful deals and, more importantly, taking care of my clients.

What do you love about Rhode Island and New England?

Growing up in West Warwick and now living in downtown Providence, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique rhythm of Rhode Island. I love that I can enjoy the urban energy of the city and be at a world-class beach in Newport or a quiet corner of the state in under thirty minutes.

Spending my summers in Newport has allowed me to build a great network there, and honestly, there’s nothing like a New England summer – the history, the coastal views, and the tight-knit community make it home. Having spent my life here, I’ve come to love all the little hidden gems and amenities that only a local knows about.

What made you want to join Residential Properties?

I joined Residential Properties because it’s a rare find – a privately owned Rhode Island firm with an incredible reputation that actually aligns with my own values. What drew me in is that they put people and relationships first; it’s not just about the transaction, it’s about the connection.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

I’m deeply rooted in family, with strong values centered around loyalty, support, and connection. I remain very close with my family, and their constant support plays an important role in both my personal and professional life. Outside of real estate, I enjoy exploring new culinary experiences and building meaningful connections within the community.

What are you most looking forward to in real estate?

What I’m most looking forward to is the opportunity to help people reach those big milestones, whether it’s finding a first home or moving on to a new chapter through a sale. For me, real estate is about more than just the property; it’s about building meaningful, long-term relationships and continuing to deepen my connection to the Rhode Island community.
