The art of the mask…
The Providence Art Club is getting into the art of the mask. They are offering several ways to enjoy one’s creativity during this time of mask wearing.
Members and staff submitted their enjoy entries from blank “canvases,” given to them, in the shape of a mask, to bring attention to the importance of wearing masks. The results were colorful, provocative, fun and beyond.
Now the general public can participate, too.
First, you can vote for your 3 favorite masks that were done by the artists and staff. Click through to the ballot. Make sure you scroll to view all masks. On smartphones, view horizontally and pinch open to see any mask larger. Click here for our 1-minute voting ballot.
Then, all Rhode Islanders are invited to take part in the next phase of the Conceal/Reveal mask installation to take place later this summer. Click the links below for full details. Masks are due by July 16.
