In The Arena: Saving the Bay. Joe Paolino Jr. interviews Topher Hamblett, Save the Bay
Each week Joe Paolino interviews leaders in Rhode Island. This week he talks with Topher Hamblett, interim Executive Director of Save the Bay. He has been with the organization for over 30 years.
They discuss the success in cleaning up Narragansett Bay, the Waterfire area, the Providence River, and more. Today’s challenge focuses on climate change, the warming of the Bay waters, losing of fish and bringing in of new species from water warmers, etc. Rising seas, erosion, public access.
They also discuss wind energy, turbines, the marine environment, and more.
