Gimme Shelter…
Hi there! I am a 10-year-old girl who came to PAC after my owner had some behavioral concerns due to my sass, and yep, I have scratched people before and my mom says I have bitten… BUT, I also had a huge close-to-the-skin matte that was really bothering me which has been taken care of and now I feel a lot better!
I would like a home where I could lose some weight and not get matted again because it seems to have really affected me. I need to be able to groom myself. I would like a quiet adult home where I can be the best girl!
They describe me here as Brave, Bold, Outgoing, and Confident!
* If you can see me online at Providence Animal Control, I am still available! No phone calls please, everything is done online and we do need an application submitted and approved before scheduling a visit. Please email [email protected] *

About the Providence Animal Control Division
The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.
As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents. To participate please send a message through our Facebook page at Providence Animal Care Center.
