Gimme’ Shelter – Pet of the Week, Tebo!
Meet Tebo –
Tebo is a sweet, loving, stout, tan, 50 lbs. Pitty mix who is a bundle of joy and about 2 years old! He was found roaming the streets and was never claimed by his previous family. From the beginning he has been a sweet guy who patiently sits and waits to be fed his breakfast and dinner and is very gentle.
We think he might be an American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix.
He enjoys getting his back stretched and has the most interesting facial expressions. He came with flea dermatitis, but his skin has healed very well.
We can see him in a semi-active home or with a big yard to run and play in. He walks by the other dogs very well in the kennel so he might want to have a sister or brother. He walks nicely on the leash, sits, and even gives paw!
He would love some new visitors so please fill out and application if you’re interested in adopting!

About the Providence Animal Control Division
The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.
As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents. To participate please send a message through our FaceBook page at Providence Animal Care Center.
