See the Seals in Wickford
The seals are here once again in North Kingstown and Fish’n Tales Adventures is excited to offer tours to see them on their 50’ boat, “Northeastern”. Harbor seals are regular winter visitors here in Rhode Island and can often be seen ‘hauled-out’ on large rocks throughout Narragansett Bay and especially right here in North Kingstown. Leaving from Wickford Harbor, it’s just a short boat ride through the bay to reach some of the most popular seal-viewing locations. Along the way, the on-board naturalist will point out places of interest and provide extensive information about these ‘sea-dogs’ and what makes them such amazing animals.
Seal trips are 75-90 minutes long and are timed around low-tide to provide the best opportunity of spotting these fascinating winter visitors. Public trips are scheduled on weekends and school vacation days.
Private group charter tours can also be arranged. These trips are appropriate for all ages. Seal watching tours are held on weekends, holidays, and school vacation days through April.
Tickets must be purchased in advance.
