Your RI Weather Today – Tues, March 2, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Wind will be the main issue through the day, as a strong advance of a cold eastern Canadian airmass envelops our area. Thankfully it’ll be a short blast of wind-chilly weather, as the center of high pressure will pass to our south and drive more of a southerly component to the deeper air column flow for the rest of the week. We’ll have to get through this day first. Morning low in the teens and highs only climbing to the upper 20’s with the high winds blasting across the land, will feel like a few degrees either side of 0.
Brrrr……

Don’t anyone be rushin’ to the shore to get a gander of big waves, however, for there are none. The wind is coming in the wrong direction resulting in a boring, flattened sea (sniff).
