Your RI Weather Today – June 22, 2021
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Cold front works through the area during the day with the chance for showers beginning around 8-9 am, becoming more steady with some embedded thunderstorms scattered about along the front, best chance for electrifying weather and heavier showers from 1 to 5 pm. The front will also push Claudette’s remains out to sea. Warm and still humid early on until the front passes, and then dew points will begin dropping noticeably through the 60’s. Midday high in the low 80’s will be followed by an evening low in the low 60’s and a shifting breeze from southwest to northwest.
