Your RI Weather Today – July 7, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak trough of low pressure moves into the area in the afternoon triggering late day showers and thunderstorms inland, some residual activity making an attempt towards the coastal areas. Continued southerly flow with high humidity raises heat indices, so afternoon highs in the upper 80’s will feel more like the 90’s after not so low morning temps in the 70’s.
