Your RI Weather Today – July 28, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Cold front leading cooler and still drier air washes through with some lingering early morning showers over the area. High pressure builds in and helps clean away what’s left of the cloud cover as the day progresses. Any upper level energy will have followed the front out to sea, so the chances of any further showers in the afternoon are minimal. Afternoon highs in the mid 70’s with a light northeasterly breeze will be followed by evening lows in the mid 60’s.
