Your RI Weather Today – July 15, 2021 – Jack Donnelly
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
High pressure building to the southwest continues pushing warm and humid air our way, dew points remaining in the sultry 70’s through the day. Weak upper dynamics will be insufficient to trigger any substantial convective activity, so storms will be few and far between and well inland if any occur. Fog will be an issue once again in the morning, as calm humid conditions cultivate and maintain ground fog over the area, particularly along the coasts. Morning lows in the low 70’s rise to the upper 80’s with a light southwesterly breeze.
