Your RI Weather, Today – July 1, 2021

With the heat wave technically over, we’ll open July with relief in the form of cloud cover and showers with an approaching frontal system beginning in the late morning and carrying through the late afternoon. As low pressure along the frontal boundary draws near, showers should become more numerous and become steadier in the evening and overnight hours into early Friday. Afternoon highs get to the mid 80’s with a light southwesterly breeze and fall to an evening low around 70.
